Theodora Dima is the President of the Sharing Economy Association of Greece. She has contributed extensively through conference presentations, workshops, articles in the press, and radio and television interviews, promoting and raising awareness of the sharing economy concept among the general public.
Her institutional role involves regular meetings with executives and government agency specialists to ensure the smooth operation of, and open dialogue between, the state and the short-term rental community.
She has completed her studies in the Department of Applied Foreign Languages in Management and Commerce at the Technological Educational Institute (TEI) of Epirus.
She also completed her studies in the Department of Italian Language and Literature at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, where she successfully pursued her postgraduate degree in Linguistics.
Her most recent studies were in the field of Journalism at ANTENNA MEDIA LAB.
She owns and manages her own short-term rental properties in the regions of Volos and Chalkida, where she is originally from. She serves as the Community Leader for Airbnb in Central Greece, coordinating local hosts, offering advice, and maintaining a communication channel between the Airbnb community and the platform to ensure the smooth operation of short-term rentals in the region.
She is also active as a real estate agent in the area of Euboea (Evia), specifically in Chalkida, where she has been living in recent years.
She has developed a specialized seminar on Short-Term Rentals, which she teaches at various institutions that invite her. In recent years, she has collaborated with IST College and New York College, where she delivers this seminar to those interested in advancing their knowledge in this growing sector.
