Yiannis was born in Ottawa, Canada, and raised in Thessaloniki, Greece. He holds a BA (Hons) in Economics from the University of Macedonia, an MSc in Money, Banking & Finance from the University of Birmingham, and a diploma in Political & Economic Sciences from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. He also holds all the relevant professional certifications—yes, including options market making.

He’s been in the game since 1998, working as an executive and mentor across Greece and the UK. He taught for 17 straight years at private colleges and is often invited to speak or moderate panels at global investment forums—from Casablanca and Panama to Madrid and Barcelona.

Now, he could tell you he’s been playing the piano since he was seven, that at 21 he played in the Greek rock band “Mora sti Fotia”, that he speaks five languages and puts his whole heart into every seminar. But he won’t. Saves him the typing and you the reading.
